Βρηκα συγχρονη εκδοση ενος ιταλικου σταυροφορικου τραγουδιου της Α σταυροφοριας {1095 μχ-1099μχ} που στα λατινικα εχει τιτλο "imperator rex grecorum" δηλ ο βασιλεας αυτοκρατωρ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ {κοντρα στις αποψεις πολλων συγχρονων "ιστορικων" που λενε οτι οι βυζαντινοι δεν ηταν ελληνες οι δυτικοι χριστιανοι της εποχης τους τους θεωρουσαν απογονους ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ } το τραγουδι αναφερεται στην επιστολη που εστειλε ο αλεξιος ο Α στον παπα ουρβανο Β και με την οποια του ζητουσε βοηθεια για την απελευθερωση των βυζαντινων εδαφων απο τους σελτζουκους τουρκους κ τους αραβες...στην Α σταυροφορια συμμετειχε και ο βυζαντινος στρατος μαζι με τους δυτικους σταυροφορους εως την μαχη της αντιοχειας...οπου εκει λογω κακης συννενοησης δεν εφθασαν εγκαιρως τα βυζαντινα στρατευματα και τα βυζαντινα πλοια να ανεφοδιασουν τους στυαυροφορους γεγονος που οι σταυροφοροι το θεωρησαν "προδοσια" κ εσπασαν τους ορκους που ειχαν δωσει στον βυζαντινο αυτοκρατορα οτι θα απελευθερωναν την ιερουσαλημ στο ονομα της αυτοκρατοριας...{με τον ορο "paganorum" ο ιταλος μεσαιωνικος βαρδος εννοει τους μουσουλμανους}

In this context Byzantine Emperor Manuel I Comnenus fostered a friendly attitude towards the latin West, and especially with the crusader kingdoms of Outremer.
King Amalric of Jerusalem was one of such allies, having married Manuel's great-grandniece, and enjoyed his military support. He went on to send a series of campaigns into Egyptian territory, which was controlled by the Fatimid Caliphate, an ally of the Zengid Turks who lorded over much of the Levant.
I tried to stay true to the lyrics as found in the Codex Buranus, but some of the words there seem like typos, such as "sather" instead of "soter". The word "ysma" also seems to be an arabic loanword.
